WHS soccer teams seeded in 2A
The Willmar boys soccer team drew the No. 5 seed in the Section 2A playoffs and will play at home against No. 12-seed Hutchinson on Monday, Oct. 10.

The Cardinals girls soccer team is the No. 9 seed in Section 2A and plays at Austin on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
The section seedings were announced Wednesday.
The Fairmont and Mankato East boys teams are the two top seeds in 2A, and on the women's side, Albert Lea is No. 1 and New Ulm is No. 2. Should the Cardinals girls team win its first game, they would play Albert Lea, which has a first-round bye, in the second round.
