Wild players to wear pre-game camouflage jerseys
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Minnesota Wild players will wear custom-designed camouflage jerseys during warm-ups before tonight's game against the Edmonton Oilers at Xcel Energy Center.
The Minnesota National Guard is the presenting partner for the 7 p.m. game.
The autographed camouflage jerseys will be available in an online auction starting Wednesday on the community page of www.wild.com . Proceeds will benefit Defending The Blue Line, the Wild's charity of the month for February. A group of National Guard soldiers created the non-profit organization to help families of all military branches with costs associated with hockey.
The auction runs through March 16.
