RAYMOND -- Wilhelmina "Minnie" Wubben, 92, of Renville, formerly of Raymond, died Wednesday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bunde Christian Reformed Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Tri-County Funeral Home in Prinsburg and for one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
She was born Sept. 22, 1916, in Rheiderland Township, Chippewa County, to Wilhelmina (Karjens) and Harry Meyer Sr. She grew up in that area and attended rural schools.
She married John Wubben on March 13, 1941, in Bunde and they lived on his farm near Raymond. In 1950, they purchased another farm near Raymond and farmed there until their retirement in 1973. They moved to Raymond in 2001 and to Renville in 2003. She moved into RenVilla in April of last year.
She was a member of Bunde Christian Reformed Church and was in the Ladies Aid and the church choir.
She is survived by eight children: Cordell (and Lucille) Wubben of Prinsburg, Willis (and Gretjen) Wubben of Raymond, Emy Wubben (and Hugh McConnell) of St. Paul, Janel (and Curt) Watson of Renville, Curtis Wubben of Roseland, Faith Ann (and Michael) Apol of Wayland, Mich., Wanda (and Paul) Knapper of Renville and Terry (and Lori) Wubben of Churchhill, Mont.; two sons-in-law: Gary Lierman of Reston, Va., and Ken Moll of Anchorage, Alaska; 33 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Ida Wubben of Clara City and Alma Gerdes of Clara City.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2006; two daughters: Harriet Lierman in 2008 and Rachel Moll in 2009; two grandsons; three brothers; and four sisters.
