Willmar 7th at CLC gymnastics meet

SAUK RAPIDS -- Abby Weiler placed eighth in all-around for Willmar Saturday at the Central Lakes Conference championships as the Cardinals finished seventh in the team standings.

Weiler's scores of 9.25 on vault and floor, 8.45 on beam and 8.125 on bars added up to an all-around score of 35.075. Mariah Miller of team champion St. Cloud Tech won all-around with a 38.075. Weiler had the best scores in each event amongst the Willmar competitors.

The Cardinals now compete in the Section 6A meet next Saturday at Morris Area High School.
