SARTELL -- Jimmy Unger swished 6 three-pointers on the way to a 22-point evening lifting the Willmar Cardinals to a 49-47 victory over the Sartell Sabres on in Central Lakes Conference boys basketball on Tuesday.

Unger hit 4 from the arc in the second half when Willmar outscored the Sabres 30-22 after trailing by six, 25-19, at halftime.

The Cardinals surged in front by 7 but Sartell worked its way back when the Cardinals missed free throws. The Sabres got a basket with 3 seconds left to cut the final gap to two points.

Willmar was 4 of 12 at the line and just 19 of 50 from the field (38 percent).

Austin Rambow added 11 points and Dean Stier logged 8 assists. Jeremy Olson grabbed 6 rebounds.

Tim Immelman, the Sabres' 6-foot-6 center, finished with 22 points.

Willmar has won 6 straight.
