Willmar club at Region IV Golden Gloves

Willmar's Santos Reyes was unopposed at 123 pounds at the Region IV Boxing Tournament at Wadena on Saturday. He advances to the Golden Gloves State Tournament April 19 in Walker to defend his 2010 title.

Also at the Wadena armory, Fernando Zavala gave up 10 pounds but won the 80-pound weight division. He won all three rounds fighting Steven Bruce of Leech Lake. Eloy Zavala also was scheduled but his opponent was a no-show.
