Willmar declares downtown snow emergency

WILLMAR -- The Willmar Public Works Department declared a snow emergency beginning at 1 a.m. on Monday for the central business area.

The area affected is from First Street to Seventh Street Southwest and from Trott Avenue to the Byass.

Vehicles may be kept in city parking lots during the snow emergency.

Any vehicles left on the streets will be towed at the owner's expense. The emergency expires at 5 a.m.
