Willmar declares snow emergency for early Tuesday morning in the central business district

The Willmar Public Works Department today declared a snow emergency in the city's central business district scheduled to start at 1 a.m. Tuesday.

Willmar's central business district includes from First Street to Seventh Street Southwest and from Trott Avenue to Highway 12 Bypass.

Any vehicle left on the streets in this central business district between 1-5 a.m. Tuesday will towed at the car owner's expense.

Car owners may use city parking lots to park their vehicles during this snow emergency.
