Willmar defeats Centennial 32-31 on criteria in state wrestling consolation semi-finals, takes on Moorhead at 5 p.m.

Willmar defeated Centennial today in the consolation team semi-finals on criteria 32-31 at the Class AAA state wrestling state tournament at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. The match ended in a 31-31 tie when Willmar's Cass Herzog lost for the first time this year on a 3-2 decision. Willmar won the match on criteria, 32-3. It was the second time in the tournaments this year that the Cardinals won by criteria. Willmar advanvces to the consolation championship against Moorhead. This match is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
