Willmar girls open 2A playoffs today
The Willmar Cardinals girls hockey team hosts LeSueur-Henderson/St. Peter/Montgomery at 7 p.m today in the first round of the Section 2A playoffs.

Willmar (7-17), the No. 4 seed, beat No.5 LHSPM (13-12) 7-3 on Jan. 22 at the Civic Center.
The winner will play top-seeded Mankato West Saturday at Lund Arena on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter.
