Willmar man airlifted after motorcycle crash west of Granite Falls

GRANITE FALLS -- A 52-year-old Willmar man was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday along Minnesota Highway 67 west of Granite Falls.

According to the State Patrol, Stephen R. McChensney was westbound on a 1996 Harley Davidson cycle and went off the curve at 280th Avenue. He was taken by ambulance to Granite Falls Hospital and then airlifted to HCMC.

He was not wearing a helmet and alcohol was detected in his system.
