As part of a plea agreement in Kandiyohi County District Court, the charge was reduced from first-degree and another first-degree drug sale felony and a misdemeanor for driving after revocation will be dismissed. He will be sentenced Aug. 30. Tjaden was one of three people charged after the Dec. 22 sale. Erick Torres, 24, of Willmar, was sentenced Monday to 78 months in prison, fined $1,500 and ordered to pay $900 in restitution for his role in the drug deal.

Jennifer Ann Jacobson, 45, of Willmar, was sentenced in April to 110 months in prison and fined $1,500 for her role in the deal.

The charges were filed after an informant arranged the sale of half an ounce of meth from Jacobson.

They met at First Street and Trott Avenue in Willmar. Jacobson told the informant she was waiting for her supplier.

Soon thereafter, Tjaden and Torres arrived and the transaction was completed. Both Jacobson's and Tjaden's vehicles were stopped by officers. Tjaden possessed a $50 bill matching previously recorded task force funds.

Jacobson had $300 in task force funds and a 3.9-gram bag of meth. The informant handed over the meth in a cigarette box.

Officers then located Torres and stopped his vehicle. He had cocaine and meth in his right sock and left shoe. While checking items from Torres into evidence, more meth was found inside the battery compartment of a flashlight.

The drugs from the informant tested positive for meth and weighed approximately 11.7 grams. The meth and cocaine found on Torres weighed 7 grams and 1.2 grams.
