Willmar, Minn., council meets tonight and Tuesday
WILLMAR -- The Willmar City Council will conduct a public hearing tonight regarding the regulation of shooting a bow and arrow in the city limits.
The regular meeting of the council begins at 7 p.m. and the hearing is set for 7:02.
The proposed amendment to city ordinance would, among other things, require a backstop of any continuous solid wall or embankment of at least 8 feet in height and 16 feet in width that an arrow cannot pass through.
In addition to committee reports, the council will consider special assessment hearings.
The council also meets in special session at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday. The special session is to discuss the organizational study.
Both meetings are in council chambers at the Willmar Municipal Utilities building, 700 Litchfield Ave. S.W.
