Willmar, Minn., law enforcement seeking help locating missing elderly woman

WILLMAR -- Willmar Police and Kandiyohi County Sheriff's officers are searching for a woman who is missing from the downtown Willmar area.

Marian Erickson had been visiting a relative at Rice Memorial Hospital, and left the hospital about noon today. She is on foot. She does have memory loss, though will appear normal in most situations.

Erickson is a 78-year-old fair-skinned Caucasian woman, 5-foot, 3-inches in height, of thin build at about 120 pounds. Her hair is white, short and curled, and she wears glasses. She was last seen wearing a long-sleeved black-and-white shirt, tan pants, tan shoes, carrying a black purse. She formerly lived on Lake Florida north of Willmar, and now resides near New London.

Anyone who saw her Friday afternoon is asked to call the Willmar Police Department at 320-235-2244 with the last place and time seen.

Anyone who sees Erickson should call 9-1-1 and attempt to keep her in view.
