Unconditional bail was set at $75,000. His next appearance is April 23 in Kandiyohi County District Court.

According to the complaint, Willmar police began investigating a sexual assault case in January that involved two girls, ages 11 and 16. The younger girl told investigators that Trevino had sexual contact with her between 20 and 30 times, with the abuse ending in late summer of 2011. The girl said the contact, in-volving sexual touching and indecent exposure, happened at an apartment in Willmar.

The girl reported that she had told the older girl about the sexual assaults. The older girl said she believed the younger's account, because Trevino had done similar things to her, when she was in the same age range, at another residence in Willmar.
