Stoeser was sentenced to 48 months in prison, which was stayed, and a $1,500 fine on the other criminal sexual conduct charge. His sentence was handed down in Kandiyohi County District Court by District Judge Donald M. Spilseth.

Stoeser was also ordered to register as a predatory offender, submit to a psycho-sexual evaluation, follow the recommendations and have no contact with the victims, their families or minor females. Restitution remains open in both cases.

As part of a plea agreement, five additional criminal sexual conduct charges were dismissed.

The family child care license at the home Stoeser shared with his wife is listed as being "revoked - under appeal," according to the state Department of Human Services website.
