Willmar, Minn., man pleads to riot charge in soccer stabbing incident


WILLMAR -- Darril Adali Guerrero Amaya, 20, of Willmar, pleaded guilty Monday to a second-degree riot charge for his role in an early morning stabbing incident in March that began as a fight over a soccer match.

As part of a plea agreement reached in Kandiyohi County District Court, another felony for second-degree assault will be dismissed. Guerrero Amaya will be sentenced June 20.
