Willmar, Minn., National Guard armory opens doors to public
WILLMAR -- The Minnesota National Guard in Willmar is opening its doors to the community Tuesday for a behind-the-scenes look at the day-to-day activities at the armory.

The event, from 3 to 6 p.m., will include a display of the Guard's equipment. Free food will be served and games will be available for kids.
The educational event will also inform the public about ways to support local veterans.
Representatives from Home Front Connections, the Veterans Service Office and Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve will be on hand to answer questions.
The Willmar Armory is located at 614 North Business Highway 71.
