Willmar notebook: Section prize up for grabs

The Willmar Cardinals wrestling team was an unknown in its new section a year ago.

No longer. They won’t sneak up on anyone.

The Cardinals beat Wayzata for the section title last February at Mound Westonka in the Section 6AAA final.


The same two schools are favored to reach the championship match again this time. Wayzata is the No. 1 seed and the Cardinals No. 2.
