Willmar opens in boys hockey, girls hoops

The Willmar boys hockey team (see preview on Page B-2) opens the season against Morris/Benson Area at 7 p.m. today in Benson.

The girls basketball team makes its 2008-09 debut by hosting Sauk Rapids in a Central Lakes Conference game scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The scheduled gymnastics meet with New London-Spicer appearing on the pocket schedules has been rescheduled for Jan. 10, 2009, in Spicer.
