Willmar PD investigates stabbing

WILLMAR -- The Willmar Police Department is investigating a stabbing Saturday night in the Dana Heights area.

According to a news release from Officer Bridget Coit, officers were dispatched at about 9 p.m. to Rice Memorial Hospital where a 24-year-old woman was being treated for a knife wound in the leg.

A male suspect fled the scene on foot.
