Willmar School Board meets Monday

WILLMAR -- The Willmar School Board will meet at 4:30 p.m. Monday in the board room on the first floor of the Willmar Education and Arts Center.

The agenda includes the resignation of board member Wayne Lenzmeier, who announced in August that he would be resigning.

Also on the agenda is a report on a federal School Improvement Grant recently announced for Kennedy Elementary School. The grant will bring $496,000 to the school this year and the district may qualify for it for another two years.

The board listens to public comments related to items on the agenda at the beginning of the meeting. Those who want to comment on issues that are not on Monday's agenda may do so at the end of the meeting.
