The board will listen to public comments related to items on the agenda at the beginning of the meeting. Those who want to comment on issues that are not on Monday's agenda may do so at the end of the meeting.

The board is scheduled to approve a preliminary property tax levy payable in 2010. The district's overall levy is estimated at about $6.7 million. That includes a voter-approved operating levy and levies for the general fund, community education and debt service.

The total levy is expected to increase about 2 percent.

The final levy will be adopted in December.

The board will also discuss appraisal and sale of property owned by the district. A sale of the Washington School property fell through last month, and it continues to be on the market.
