WILLMAR -- The Willmar School Board will meet in a workshop session at 4:30 p.m. Monday in the first floor boardroom at the Willmar Education and Arts Center.
The board will continue discussion about $2 million in budget cuts for the 2010-11 school year.
School administrators are scheduled to provide the board with a list of items they want to remove from the list proposed at the last meeting. The board decided then to keep all-day, everyday kindergarten for another year and to spend about $250,000 from reserves to reduce the impact on the district.
In a departure from most workshop meetings, the board will listen to public comments about the budget at the beginning of the meeting.
