Willmar School Board will meet to consider offer for Lincoln School

WILLMAR -- The Willmar School Board will meet at 4:30 p.m. Monday in the board room on the first floor of the Willmar Education and Arts Center.

The board will receive the annual audit from fiscal year 2012 from its accounting firm, Conway, Deuth and Schmiesing of Willmar.

Also on the agenda is a purchase offer for the closed Lincoln Elementary School building. George and Gayla Properties of Meadville, Mo., has offered $7,000 for the building. The board had recently discussed tearing down the building, which costs about $30,000 a year to heat.

The board sets aside time at the beginning of each meeting to listen to public comments related to items on the agenda. Those who want to comment on issues that are not on Monday's agenda may do so at the end of the meeting.

Board meetings are shown live on Willmar local cable access channel 18 and are shown later on Channel 19.
