WILLMAR -- Willmar's school meals are being featured today and tomorrow on the Facebook page "School Meals That Rock."

The page features a link to Willmar's latest meal program newsletter and the profile photo this afternoon is of a lunch served in a Willmar school.

The photos to be featured will also show the greens grown at the school's greenhouse on the MinnWest Technology Campus. The school has harvested 120 pounds of greens for tacos and for the salad bars and Willmar Middle School and Willmar Senior High.

School Meals That Rock describes itself as "a place to share and celebrate what is RIGHT with school nutrition in America. It is a counter-revolution to the media bashing of school meals and a tribute to every lunch lady (and gentleman) working to do amazing things for kids' nutrition."

The Willmar, New London-Spicer and Montevideo school districts have a shared lunch program, which also serves Community Christian School in Willmar.
