Willmar snow emergency starts at 1 a.m. Saturday

WILLMAR -- The Willmar Public Works Department has declared a snow emergency beginning at 1 a.m. Saturday for the central business area.

The area affected is from First Street to Seventh Street Southwest and from Trott Avenue to the U.S. Highway 12 Bypass.

Vehicles may be kept in city parking lots during the snow emergency.

Any vehicles left on the streets will be towed at the owner's expense. The emergency expires at 5 a.m.
