Willmar swimmers, divers open today at home vs. Brainerd

The Willmar swimming and diving team opens the season today, hosting Brainerd in a Central Lakes Conference meet beginning at 6 p.m. in the high school pool.

Brainerd is the defending conference champion.

Willmar has 19 letterwinners returning from a team that placed sixth in Class A in 2007-08.

The Cardinals were previewed in Thursday's paper.
