Willmar Ward 2 voters reelect Johnson

WILLMAR -- Ward 2 voters reelected incumbent Tim Johnson to a second four-year term on the Willmar City Council, defeating challenger Andrew Bjur in Tuesday's general election.

Johnson received 1,091 votes and Bjur received 990 votes, according to unofficial returns.

Among the three precincts in the ward, Johnson carried Precinct 1 with unofficial returns of 353 to 234 and Precinct 3 with 524 to 265. But Bjur carried Precinct 2 with 491 to 214.
