Willmar woman in critical condition after 2-car crash on Highway 71
WILLMAR -- A 19-year-old Willmar woman was in critical condition Wednesday due to injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash around 11 a.m. Wednesday along U.S. Highway 71 north of Willmar.
According to the State Patrol, Jenna L. Van Buren was driving a 1998 Mercury that collided with a 2005 Ford van driven by Paul A. Wier, 50, of Osakis, at the intersection of Highway 71 and County Road 90.
Van Buren was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar and then was airlifted to another hospital, which was not listed by the Patrol. Weir was not injured. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
