Willmar woman joins firm as lobbyist

MINNEAPOLIS — Messerli & Kramer P.A. announce that Willmar native Erin M. Campbell will be joining the firm’s government relations group as a lobbyist later this month.

Campbell has more than eight years of government and legislative experience, most recently serving as the senior policy advisor for Gov. Mark Dayton.

Prior to working for Dayton, she worked for the Minnesota Senate. She has closely followed legislative committees and policy issues including capital investment, economic development, labor, housing, public safety, corrections, human rights, judiciary, civil law and transportation.

“Erin’s experience in government relations makes her an exceptional addition to our team. She is thoughtful and strategic in her planning and communications,” said attorney Tom Poul, Messerli & Kramer Government Relations Group chairman. “Her enthusiasm and drive will greatly benefit our clients.”

Campbell serves on the board of directors of Avenues for Homeless Youth. She was named a DFL Women’s Hall of Fame “Rising Star” in 2008 and received the MSSA Grassroots Advocacy Award in 2004.
