According to the Meeker County Sheriff's office, deputies and the State Patrol responded to the crash a half mile west of County Road 31. A 1993 Ford semi, driven by Cody Allen Nelson, 39, of Sioux Falls, S.D., was hauling a manufactured home for Centennial Homes, also of Sioux Falls, when the wind forced the home and the semi trailer over into the west ditch. The semi tractor cab was parked in the westbound lane of traffic.

Deputies directed traffic around the incident while the State Patrol wrote the report.
