Wind chill advisory in effect through 11 a.m.

A wind chill advisory is in effect for west central Minnesota until 11 a.m.

Wind chill values in the 20 below to 30 below zero range will persist over west central Minnesota through the morning, according to the National Weather Service.

A wind chill advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

Today's high will be 1 degree, according to the weather service.
