Wind turbine status report on council agenda

WILLMAR -- The Willmar City Council will receive a report on the status of the Municipal Utilities' wind turbine project at 7 p.m. on Monday in the chambers at the utility building, 700 Litchfield Ave. S.W.

In other business, the council will hold a hearing to vacate a portion of Pacific Avenue Southwest and Eighth Street Southwest; will receive public comments during the open forum; and will receive the annual Police Department report.

The council will receive reports from the Finance Committee, Public Works/Safety Committee and the Community Development Committee.
