Winkleman, NDSU fall just short at USC

Brett Winkleman, a 2004 Morris Area High School graduate, had a team-high 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds, but North Dakota State (6-4) fell to USC (7-3) 61-57 in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The Trojans trailed 57-56 with 1:30 left, but scored the game's last five points.
