Winter isn’t over, up to foot of snow, sleet, rain coming


WILLMAR — Portions of southern and central Minnesota could get up to a foot of snow, plus freezing rain and sleet, from a winter storm that will start early Tuesday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning from 7 a.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m. Wednesday for an area from Yellow Medicine County east to McLeod County and northeast to the arrowhead region of the state and into northwest Wisconsin.
