According to the State Patrol, Jacob Weber was riding his bicycle with a group of juveniles around 2:30 p.m. Saturday on state Highway 15 in Sibley County when he crossed in front of a northbound 2007 Mack truck driven by Andrew Damhof, 23, of Blomkest.

The boy was transported Saturday to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He was initially listed in critical condition, and the State Patrol on Sunday released conflicting information regarding Weber's condition.

The State Patrol's report was updated tonight to show that Weber had died of his injuries.

Damhof was not injured.

Alcohol was not a contributing factor in the incident, according to the State Patrol report.
