Veronica Gonzalez Navarro also faces misdemeanor charges of domestic assault, property damage and driving after suspension. Unconditional bail was set at $50,000. Her next appearance in Kandiyohi County District Court is Aug. 2.

According to the complaint, a Kandiyohi County sheriff's deputy was notified of a "rolling domestic incident" -- happening in a moving vehicle -- around 4:20 p.m. Friday along County Road 9 west of Nest Lake. The caller was being pursued by Navarro, who had allegedly rammed his vehicle in Spicer.

The officer located the vehicles parked at the Country Stop in New London, with the man's vehicle blocked in by Navarro's vehicle.

Navarro was at the driver's door of the man's car, attempting to get into the vehicle. Another deputy assisted in separating Navarro and the man.

The man said that he and Navarro had broken off their relationship and had a child together. He said they'd been in Spicer and that she'd threatened to slash the tires of his vehicle and that he'd been afraid of her and had gotten back into his vehicle.

He also said that she'd rammed her vehicle into his vehicle at Green Lake Boulevard and Highway 23.

The deputies observed marks on the vehicles and paint matching the man's car on Navarro's vehicle.
