As part of her sentence handed down by Judge Donald M. Spilseth in Kandiyohi County District Court, Rasmussen was given credit for 148 days already served. She was also ordered to pay $150 in restitution.

As part of a plea agreement, a second-degree drug sale charge was dismissed.

Rasmussen and Shane Thomas Cain were both charged in the case. Cain was sentenced Nov. 17 to 21 months in prison, which was stayed, 10 years of probation, a $2,000 fine and 365 days in the county jail on a fourth-degree drug sale charge.

The charge was filed after Oct. 27, 2010, when Cain and Rasmussen were involved with a transaction involving the sale of 3.5 grams of cocaine and a small amount of meth to the informant in a hotel room in Willmar.
