Woman pleads to assault charge for machete at farmers market
WILLMAR -- Betty Denice Reveles, 50, of Willmar, pleaded guilty Friday to a second-degree assault charge for threatening a woman with a machete last summer at the Willmar farmers market.
As part of a plea agreement in Kandiyohi County District Court, another felony for terroristic threats and a misdemeanor for disorderly conduct will be dismissed. She will be sentenced May 14.
Reveles had been scheduled for a one-day court trial before Jud-ge Donald M. Spilseth.
