Woman struck and killed in Maple Grove

MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (AP) — Police in Maple Grove are working to identify a woman struck and killed while walking in a construction zone.

Authorities say the woman was hit by a vehicle about 1:30 a.m. Thursday. Investigators say their initial findings show the driver was not at fault. The woman had no purse or identification. KSTP-TV says police are reconstructing the crash scene.
