Women who rent out farmland invited Thursday to meeting in Glenwood, Minn.
GLENWOOD -- Are you a woman who rents out farmland and is interested in knowing how to be certain good conservation practices that protect and build your land resource are in place on those acres?
The Chippewa 10% Project is hosting a free "Women Caring for the Land" meeting from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glenwood. This meeting is for women who own and rent out farmland and who would like to learn more about conservation, how to participate in conservation programs and how to talk to their tenants about improving conservation on their land.
