Women's basketball: Jayhawks, down by 18, win in overtime

The Kansas women's basketball team (4-4 Big Twelve, 13-6) trailed No. 23 Iowa State 55-37 with 8:48 left when Bonnie Henrickson called time out. From there, the Jayhawks went on a 27-10 run to knot the game 65-all in regulation before winning in OT 78-75 Wednesday at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence.
It was the 309th win in the Willmar native's 16-year career, which includes 7 seasons at Virginia Tech.
