Women's basketball: Kramer leads Warriors over Voyageurs 76-69

BRAINERD — Courtney Kramer scored 27 points and Ridgewater handed Rainy River its second loss of the season 76-69 on Saturday at the Central Lakes Tournament in Brainerd.
“This was one of our losses (on Nov. 30) so it was a big win for us to get,” Ridgewater head coach Carrie Ogdahl said. “(Rainy River) is ranked in the nation and they’re very, very strong … we proved we can play with a big athletic team.”
Kramer was 12-for-14 on field goals for her game-high point total.
Raeann Sorenson scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, and Lynsey Runke had 12 points and 3 assists.
The Warriors are off until Jan. 4 when they travel to Grand Rapids for the Itasca Invite.
