Itasca (7-2) shot 46 percent from the field in the first half to stake a 41-35 lead, but a surge from Ridgewater (4-5) to open the second half allowed the Lady Warriors to take a double-digit lead. The Lady Vikings would soon get back out front and hold on down the stretch to drop Ridgewater below .500.

Kelsey Guetter finished with a game-high 27 points for Ridgewater, which shot only 35 percent from the field for the game. Also scoring in double figures was Whitley Strei with 15 behind five 3-pointers and Alii Holt with 12.

Ridgewater will try to shake off a tough loss by taking on Northland today at 1 p.m. in Thief River Falls.
