Women's basketball: Ridgewater hammers Western Technical

WILLMAR — The Lady Warriors picked up their fourth division win with two games left on Saturday.

Shooting 48 percent from the floor and 73 percent from the charity stripe, Ridgewater College leveled Western Technical College of LaCrosse, Wis., 82-56.

Kristin Phillipp (Eden Valley) led five in double figures with 22 points, including 5 of 9 from beyond the arc. Katie Knisley pulled down 9 rebounds to go with 10 points.

The college at Willmar plays host to Anoka-Ramsey on Wednesday before closing the MCAC South campaign on Saturday at Fergus Falls.
