Raeann Sorenson scored 26 points, Courtney Kramer had 11 and Brooke Wuertz added 10 for the Warriors, who improved to 2-1.

Despite the double-digit win, Warriors head coach Carrie Ogdahl said she would have liked to seen more from her team.

“We’ve still got a lot to learn,” Ogdahl said. “We’re trying to learn flow. It was a good win but it felt like we should have dominated more.”

The Warriors did lose top starting guard Jessie Kalenberg, who played about 16 minutes before injurying an ankle. She didn’t return to the game.

Rachel Ampe led the Warriors with 8 rebounds and Shantel Kelly had 7.

Ridgewater does not play today and returns to the court to host North Dakota State College of Science on Dec. 4.

Between now and then, the Warriors will try to smooth out its operation, Ogdahl said.

“It’s early on, there are freshmen and we’re running a new offense this year,” Ogdahl said. “There are a lot of things we need to get fine tuned.”
