The Warriors fell to 1-5 in the MCAC Southern Division and 4-14 overall. They play at Central Lakes at 1 p.m. Saturday in Brainerd.

Ridgewater trailed Fergus Falls throughout the game but cut the margin to eight points and appeared ready to make a run.

"We were down eight points with eight minutes to go, I mean that's a ball game," said Ridgewater head coach Carrie Ogdahl. "Just like that, it was gone. We turned the ball over, missed shots, fouled. It just snowballed on us."

The Warriors committed 22 turnovers and also were outrebounded 53-34. The Warriors were also whistled for 20 fouls compared the Fergus Falls' 11.

Annie Winter and Mikell Melius both scored 10 points to lead the Warriors. Shantel Kelly had 9 points and 5 rebounds.
