GROVE CITY -- Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City knocked BOLD out of a virtual tie for first place in the West Central South Conference wrestling standings with a 31-26 win Thursday.

The Warriors held a 14-10 lead after Cody Goldschmidt won by a 16-1 technical fall at 135 pounds and Brent O'Halloran won a 3-0 decision at 140, but Ryan Larson's decision victory at 145 and Travis Frederiksen's pin at 152 gave ACGC (5-1, 15-1) a 19-14 lead, which it wouldn't relinquish.

BOLD (6-2, 14-6) cut the lead to 19-17 on Cody Hatch's decision at 160 pounds, but a Micah Larson pin in the next match added to the Falcons' lead.

Deron Buboltz put the dual out of reach with a pin at 215 pounds.

Dustin Caspers of BOLD won his heavyweight match with 22-second pin for the final score.
