Wrestling: Windom upsets DB/LQPV in Section 3AA semifinals, 35-27

TRACY -- Dawson-Boyd/Lac qui Parle Valley, the North's top seed, was upset in the Section 3AA semifinals Friday, 35-27 by Windom/Mountain La-ke/Butterfield-Odin, the South's No. 2 seed.

J.D. Struxness gave DB/LQPV the lead at 27-26 with a decision at 189 pounds.

Kyle Miller of Windom/MLBO won his decision at 215 pounds to give the Cobras the lead back and Spencer Johnson's pin at heavyweight sealed the win.

Adrian beat Wabasso 27-22 in the other semifinal before upending Windom/MLBO 38-21 in the section championship.
